HARRIET TUBMAN is an exciting new musical that tells the real life story of Harriet Tubman, with words and music by Nkeiru Okoye.

How did she do it?  And why?

Everyone has heard about Harriet Tubman, but what do we really know about her? HARRIET TUBMAN tells the story of how a former slave girl became the Liberator known as Moses.

Don’t be surprised when you find yourself singing the lively, memorable songs such as The Brown Skin Gal ballad, the Tree Song serenade, the jazzy ballad, I Want A Man, the sung sermon These are the Ways of the Underground Railroad, and the powerful gospel aria, I am Harriet Tubman Free Woman.
